Umm Al-Qura is committed to providing funding to support new partnerships, inspiring projects, and research of strategic value.

We offer extensive postgraduate research studentships, scholarships, and funding opportunities. We have a vibrant community of post-doctoral and Early Career Researchers, and welcome outstanding applicants to external Fellowship schemes.

Other examples of our funding include Umm Al-Qura Together, which provides initial support to develop multi and inter-disciplinary projects into innovative, externally-funded research across strategic areas, and funds to accelerate the translation of our research for innovation and impact.
